Rural Barn Garden, Radwinter 

This family garden lacked structure, interest and reasons for the clients to venture beyond the dated dining patio. The brief was to design a garden that balances the practical needs of family life with a contemporary rural aesthetic.

The new design incorporates a renovated kitchen garden and play area, naturalistic planting, a hidden sunken trampoline, discrete zones for dining, relaxing and play as well as a winding path creating onward journeys through the garden. We have retained a good sized lawn for sports and activities, but taken the main focus away with planting and structure.
